What we are paid, and by whom
This site is free. It is paid for by a referral arrangement with one data buyer. If a company that came from this site signs a data licence with that buyer, and the buyer pays the company, the buyer pays us a referral fee. The fee is paid by the buyer. You never pay us anything, and we never invoice you.
What we never do
- We never ask for, receive or store your company's data, files, logins or passwords.
- We never tell you whether your company is allowed to license its records, or how the buyer or its customers will use them. Those questions go to the buyer and to your own advisers.
- We never promise an amount, outcome or timeline. Every figure on this site is indicative.
- We never talk about investing in the buyer, or point anyone toward any investment.
Why we only link to one buyer
We link to a single buyer because its indicative pricing model is public, which lets us show the maths in full. Other companies also license business data. You are free to compare them, and we would encourage any owner to do so before signing anything.
Written disclosure before you sign
Before your company signs a data licence with the buyer, you are entitled to this disclosure in writing. This page is that disclosure. You can save or print it, and you can ask the buyer to confirm the referral arrangement too.
